Hydraulic Ram Discharge
A heavy follower plate is lowered into the mixing tub by a hydraulic ram powered by an air or electric motor activating an oil pump. As it descends (under tremendous pressure), the plate pushes the viscous or thixotropic product out through a discharge valve. Seals or wipers clean the tank as the plate lowers. Myers’ hydraulic ram follower plate can discharge through many different valve configurations.
