This dual shaft high speed disperser has two impellers on each shaft that pass over one another in opposite directions. Shafts spread apart for easier loading with less dust. A single motor drives both shafts for lower viscosity products. Dual motors for higher viscosities or larger batches are available. Drive systems can be inverter driven variable speeds, single speed or two speeds.
Expect significant improvements in product quality and time performance when using this Myers machine.
Fast, extra fine dispersion capability
Faster pigment loading that may eliminate sand milling
Less heat build-up
Better, faster dispersion
Improved particle size
Less air entrapment
Case Study - Customer reduced batch processing time by approximately 7 hours. ![]()
550 Series

The Myers Series 550 dual-shaft, dual-range disperser is designed to process efficiently a wide variety of products having high viscosities and poor flow characteristics.
Common to this design is a sweep blade that moves products from the tank wall into the mixing zone. The mixer can operate with one motor driving both shafts or two motors driving each shaft individually. Top view showing all blades.
